code::name urubu (experimental contemporary music) is a metaphysical trip to the confines of the national surrealistic reality and its reverberations in the abstract temporal and composicional substratum. De-constructions of this perpetual misery. Nor the end, nor the beginning: the passage.

The idea of the DVD was born as a torrent of names with very indicative feelings, forming one whole with 19 musics (total duration of 81 minutes) and include : macumgolé, poliertão, sincretético, são rosa , eletro vodoo, mortriarcado , among others.

Thus, code::name urubu – mix : digital electronics (diverse synthesis types), acoustic instruments (acoustic guitar / lyre), electroacoustics (theremin, totem bass, guitar), natural sounds processed (urubus, ants and amazon electric fishes) and small participation of voice.

They had been all composed and recorded during the year of 2008 - mixed in surround 5.1 and the short videos created in January and February of 2009.

The DVD brings versions in 5.1 (Dolby Surround) and 2.0 (the traditional stereo), more incidental urubu's images.
